Small business

There are more 2500 small enterprises in the region, the third part of it is enterprises of building and industry. There are more 27 thousand constant and 3.5 thousand temporary work places at these enterprises. Besides that there are 12 thousand private entrepreneurs without education of juridical person in different spheres of economy.

In the structure of production of small enterprises 56 of gross production of goods and services fall at industrial enterprises. Volumes of goods and services are increasing in the sphere of production of building materials, housing, education and transport.

High scientific potential of the Murmansk region and joint informational technologies promotes to development of innovation directions in the small business: for 2002 increase of enterprises of information and calculation service makes 125%.
